Emma Thomas Jones, also known as E. Thomas Jones, is a queer poet from Ellijay, GA who currently lives and works as a Rhetoric and Composition instructor in Fayetteville, AR.
She earned her MFA from the University of Arkansas in 2021, during which time she served as a poetry reader and Grants Coordinator for The Arkansas International.
Emma has been the recipient of the the C. D. Wright/Academy of American Poets Prize, Lily Peter Fellowship in Poetry, and the Felix Christopher McKean Memorial Award for Poetry; she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2022. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Southern Review, American Literary Review, NELLE, and others.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys cooking, watching movies, and playing a myriad of video games and TTRPGs.
